(c) This section does not prohibit the use of: (A) exclusively for receiving digital information for commercial purposes; (B) exclusively for a safety or law enforcement purpose, if each installation is approved by the department; (C) in a remote television transmission truck; or, (D) exclusively for monitoring the performance of equipment installed on a vehicle used for safety purposes in connection with the operations of a natural gas, water, or electric utility; or, (A) produces an electronic display; and. ALTERNATIVE ROAD LIGHTING EQUIPMENT PERMITTED. (b) A motorcycle, other than a motorcycle equipped with a motor that has an engine piston displacement of 250 cubic centimeters or less, shall be equipped with multiple-beam lighting equipment that produces: (1) an uppermost distribution of light that reveals a person or vehicle at a distance of at least 300 feet ahead; and. 547.304.
